Are you living at Journal Campus House and love creating videos? This is your chance to shine on our official social channels and get rewarded for doing what you love!

We’re excited to bring back the Journal Content Creator Program for Semester 1 2026 – and we’re looking for a small team of 10 talented residents to join us.

🎥 What’s it all about?

We’re on the hunt for creative and passionate students to help bring Journal’s student experience to life through video.

As a Content Creator, you’ll produce short, engaging videos (10–30 seconds) that showcase:

🏡 Life at Journal – your room, communal spaces, and building vibes
🎥 Life in Melbourne – campus, coffee, and weekend adventures
🛏 Room features – from move-in moments to makeovers
👯 Events and community – show us the fun side of Journal living

🗓 When does it run?

The program runs from March to May 2026, across approximately 11–12 weeks.
You’ll be asked to create 6 videos in total – that’s about 2 videos each month.

💰 Why join?

By becoming a Journal Content Creator, you’ll:

  • Build your creative portfolio
  • Collaborate with the Journal marketing team
  • Get your content featured on Instagram, TikTok, Rednote, and more
  • Receive up to $300 cash card at the end of the program

🧑‍🎓 Who can apply?

This opportunity is exclusively for current Journal residents.
If you love filming, editing, or sharing daily moments online – we’d love to hear from you!

📩 How to apply?

Applying is easy. Simply fill out the Student Creator application form by Wednesday 25 February 2026.

In the form, you’ll be asked to share:

  • A few basic details about yourself
  • Why you’d love to join the Journal Student Creator Programme
  • The social media platforms you’re most familiar with
  • Links to your social media or examples of your content
  • Optional: upload a portfolio or video resume if you have one

You don’t need to be a professional creator. We’re more interested in your perspective, creativity, and enthusiasm for sharing student life at Journal.

Please make sure you’re following our social media channels before applying. It’s the best way to get a feel for our content style and tone.

📌 Spots are limited, and only selected residents will be contacted, so don’t leave it too late.

Got questions? Just send us a message. We can’t wait to see your creativity.
